Ohlala Operations for Amazon EC2 relies on AWS Systems Manager to manage your Windows EC2.

To join Windows EC2 to your Active Directory domain, you will need to provide the credentials of an AD service account with the necessary permissions. Other functionalities do not use AD credentials and are executed on the Windows machine using a local account with systems privileges (this is how AWS SSM works).
